". . . our response in the Diocese of Lexington to reopening churches for in-person Masses is twofold: (1) Our in-person Masses at the present will necessarily follow Commonwealth and Diocese guidelines that are meant to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and (2) We will continue to make available virtual Masses as a safe alternative for those who rather not attend in-person Mass at this time due to the risk. . ." "We must find at least 25 healthy people who are not considered vulnerable to serve as Hospitality Ministers at the masses. We will need between 6 and 8 for each mass to facilitate the protocols that must be in place and to retain order in social distancing and regimenting the attendees for communion, entering and exiting the church building." "Masses will begin the weekend of May 30 and 31. Saturday, 4pm Mass in English, Sunday 10am Mass in English, and Wednesday 5pm Mass in English which will be the Sunday Mass and homily offered again. Spanish Masses will be celebrated Sunday 12:45pm and 7:00pm." (click above to read more)
