Dear Parishioners and Friends of Historic Saint Paul,
We have rescheduled the event we had to cancel last week. We have also moved it into the church building and have contracted the Sheriffs department for security in front of the church building for those using the front doors and in our parking lot for those using the side door. Security will be present from 5:30pm 8:30pm.
I hope we can pack the church in a show of solidarity for our trans siblings and a man who has given his life to the Church - Brother Christian. Please plan to come and invite someone.
Again, if you hear talk that demeans or lies about our trans siblings, please speak up and stop the conversation - whether it occurs i-person or online. Our parish is a welcoming, safe, and unconditionally loving place and it is our job to transform the world because we are part of this community of faith. You just might save a life by speaking up.
Thank you, too, for your support for Father Richard's heartfelt homily this weekend and for your support of my ministry. The outpouring of support has been healing and a true grace. Now, let's fill the church on April 7th!
